I changed the brightness in this, as well as the contrast. To the point it looks like i'm holding a torch underneath my face. I also wanted the dark background just behind me to make my face look brighter.
In this photo, i wanted a gloomy dark look, quite similar to that of Adele's '21' album cover. Except my album cover is a little darker around the face area. On photoshop, i went on the black and white option and i just played around with the levels till i was satisfied with my picture.
In this photo, i played around with the contrast, the brightness and also the black and white option. This photo was by accident, i didn't really know the photo would turn out like this. However, i was pretty happy with the outcome. I went on the contrast and brightness option, and i played around with the levels. I found it fun experimenting with the different levels etc.
